In 2010 Amy started blogging for The Intern View, a blog that teaches interns how to make the transition from where they are in school to where they want to be professionally. It focuses on the the entire intern life experience; the search, the office, the networking, the tough decisions and other issues every intern faces. Amy's column, Intern Life Lessons, offered tips and tricks she learned from her past internship experiences. A partial compilation of her articles can be read in The Intern View archives (she began contributing in the summer, before they archived entries labeled with bylines).

As a part-time reporter for The State Press, Amy covered her beat, ASU's polytechnic campus, by writing one or two stories each week. A complete compilation of her published stories can be read on The State Press archives

In 2010, Amy won the first place in the public relations writing category of the 12th annual Zenith Awards, hosted by the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Her winning feature story, "Students Get More than Caffeine from Starbucks" can be read on the award website.

While interning at Off Madison Ave, Amy contributed an article to the company blog, "5 Lessons from 5 Internships." While at David and Sam PR, she contributed to their blog, Reggie's Ramblings, with a post titled, "Reggie Boot Camp."
